Pure Silk Kimono Robe | Talc
$326.00
Some luxuries whisper. Talc is one of them — the colour of powdered light, of antique vanities and warm morning air. A soft, mineral beige that feels as if it were dusted onto the skin rather than worn.
Part of the Founder Curated series, this kimono is a personal indulgence — chosen for its simplicity, sensuality, and the way it transforms the most ordinary of moments into quiet ceremony.
Made in Japan by a small, heritage-focused atelier, each robe is dyed, cut, sewn, and finished with care using traditional techniques. The 100% silk satin (16 momme) has a creamy, fluid drape — weighty enough to feel grounding, yet light enough to breathe against the skin.
The print features plum blossoms and silvery cranes — two of Japan’s most cherished symbols. Plum blossoms, which bloom in winter, represent quiet strength, renewal, and elegance. Cranes, often called the bird of happiness, symbolise longevity, hope, and lasting love. Together, they bring a sense of poetic stillness and gentle optimism to this piece.
Talc is for those who find beauty in the quiet — in soft steam rising from a cup, in light falling across a linen bedspread, in the feel of silk at the end of a long day.
Length: approx. 142 cm (56")

Timeless design: Inspired by the enduring elegance of Japanese silk robes, but made for everyday life — at home, on holiday, or layered as a statement piece.
Luxurious fabric: Smooth, breathable silk satin with a soft sheen that drapes beautifully across the body.
Meaningful motifs: Cranes (symbols of longevity and lasting love) and plum blossoms (symbols of grace and perseverance) bring cultural depth and poetry to each garment.
Versatile styling: Belted as loungewear, open over denim, or wrapped as an evening layer — these robes shift seamlessly from day to night.
Conscious craftsmanship: Made in small quantities by skilled makers using time-honoured techniques, reflecting a commitment to slow fashion and intentional quality.
A piece with presence: More than a robe — it’s an heirloom garment, chosen to bring beauty, comfort, and a touch of quiet luxury into daily rituals.
Some pieces arrive not from a product roadmap, but from the heart. Vignette by GGCo. is my space to share small, considered collections that speak to a slower, more beautiful life at home. These kimono robes are pieces I’ve personally fallen for — things that spark a sense of quiet luxury, or ease, even in the most ordinary of moments.
